This TOUGH cut bur comes with a shank diameter of 1/4", bur diameter of 3/8" and bur length of 3/4". TOUGH cut burs offer various advantages such as exceptional impact resistance, minimized tooth chipping/breakage, splintering and bur failures, can be used as long-shank variants and can also be used at low rotational speeds.
Applications include: milling out, deburring, cutting out holes, surface work, milling and weld dressing (work on weld seams). PFERD Tough Cut Burs are compatible with flexible shaft drives and straight grinders.
TOUGH Cut burs work on various material including: Steel, Cast steel, Case-hardened steels, Steel materials with a hardness over 54 HRC, Hardened, heat-treated steels, Cast iron, Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS), Black cast iron (GTS, GJMB), Annealed cast iron, White annealed cast iron (GTW, GJMW) and Tool steels.
