PFERD is leading in the development, production and support of tool solutions for work on surfaces and material cutting. In keeping with a tradition that dates back more than 200 years, PFERD tools offer the user maximum benefit and optimum cost-effectiveness. Carbide burs with MICRO cut are specifically designed for finishing and are used in areas in which abrasive mounted points are usually used. They offer a higher stock removal rate and produce a high surface quality, particularly compared with conventionally milled surfaces. The 27548 is Tree bur with pointed end – Shape G. This MICRO cut bur comes with a shank diameter of 1/4", bur diameter of 3/8" and bur length of 3/4". The MICRO cut offers various advantages including low vibration and little noise. They maintain their geometry over their entire service life, and are well suited to manual and machine applications. Almost all materials up to a hardness of 940 HV (68 HRC) can be machined.
Applications include: milling, milling out, deburring, cutting out holes, surface work and weld dressing (work on weld seams). PFERD MICRO Cut Burs are compatible with flexible shaft drive, straight grinder, robot applications, stationary machines, machine tools and more.
MICRO Cut burs work on various material including: Brass, Bronze, Copper, Cast iron, Annealed cast iron, Black cast iron (GTS, GJMB), White annealed cast iron (GTW, GJMW), Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS), Hard aluminium alloys, Steel, Cast steel, Hardened, heat-treated steels, Case-hardened steels, Stainless steel (INOX), Steel materials with a hardness over 54 HRC, Titanium, Titanium alloys, Tool steels, Zinc, Hard non-ferrous metal, Soft non-ferrous metal and other non-ferrous metals.
