Pferd 46934 9" x 11" Abrasive Sheet is a tensile yet potent abrasive that performs well for coarse grinding tasks with a high stock removal rate and cool grinding. Active grinding additives in the coating significantly increase the stock removal rate, avoid clogging, and produce cooler grinding. The Abrasive Sheet is useful for smoothing out wood, metal, and other surfaces before painting or varnishing them, removing a layer of material such as old paint or glue, and occasionally roughening the surface to prepare it for adhesives. The sheet is suitable for finishing or preparing wet or dry surfaces. The 46934 Paper-backed Sheets, due to their flexibility, produce excellent results on contours and in difficult-to-reach workpiece areas. The SiC abrasive can be used on both paint and glass. All wet grinding work on conventionally painted surfaces is ideal. This abrasive sheet offers the best economic value due to its improved tool life and aggressiveness. The high-quality silicon grain on this sheet is durable and sharp.
