This STEEL cut bur comes with a shank diameter of 1/4", bur diameter of 5/8" and bur length of 1". STEEL cut burs offer various advantages such as up to 50% higher stock removal rate when used on steel and cast steel in comparison to conventional double cut burs, significantly increased aggressiveness, large chips and very good chip removal resulting from the innovative tooth geometry etc. With STEEL cut burs, the workpiece is protected through much lower thermal load.
Applications include: milling out, leveling, deburring, cutting out holes, surface work and weld dressing (work on weld seams). PFERD STEEL Cut Burs are compatible with flexible shaft drive, straight grinder, robot applications, stationary machines, machine tools and more.
STEEL Cut burs work on various material including: Steel, Cast steel, Case-hardened steels, Hardened, heat-treated steels and Tool steels.
