G1-Series Angle & Belt Sanders

Ingersoll Rand G-Series sanders are part of the G-Series line of finishing tools designed for specific uses in surface preparation and final finishing applications. They are based on the G1-Series 0.40 hp (0.30 kW) air motor with a variety of speed offerings and accessories for sanding, strap polishing, blending and smoothing operations. The G-Series models are multi-purpose accessory tools used in aerospace, shipbuilding, utilities, woodworking and furniture production, vehicle assembly, marine coatings, and general maintenance.


The G-Series tools feature a one nut, “drop-in” style motor, which requires no alignment or install shims. Air motor vanes can be quickly removed and replaced. This innovative design reduces downtime and parts expense.

The quality of your finishing tools has a direct effect on process and product quality. Choose tools with enough horsepower to drive the abrasive material you are using, and allow the tool's speed to work for the operator. Only use recommended equipment and adaptors. Do not modify or weld on the tool. Use the correct size guards, mounts, flanges, blotters, and spindles to ensure operator safety.

Tech Tip: To increase tool performance, extend tool life and lessen repair costs use it with a Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRLs)
