Adjustable Shut Off Screwdrivers

ingersoll-rand-tools-logo.png

The most accurate of all pneumatic screwdrivers, adjustable shut-off (or automatic shut-off) screwdrivers are designed for critical fastening applications involving metal, composites, or plastics that require precise torque control.  The final resting torque is set by adjusting the compression of a mechanical clutch spring located within the front section of the tool.  This class of tools is recommended for hard or soft joints or for self-tapping or sheet metal screws provided that the tapping torque does not exceed the final torque.  Automatic shut-off tools reduce air consumption and are the most ergonomically correct of all air screwdrivers.

Tech Tip: To increase tool performance, extend tool life and lessen repair costs use it with a Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRLs)
